First Euronanomed Review Seminar for MAGBBRIS

During late May 2019, Euronanomed hosted in Bratislava a Review Seminar for projects funded in the 2015, 2016 and 2017 joint Calls. Of course, MAGBBRIS project had it's representation on it: consortium coordinator Anna Rosell presented the top achievements during the first year of our ongoing work with endothelial progenitor cell secretome encapsulation and tracking. During the poster exhibition held in the seminar, there was also representation from the MAGBBRIS consortium. Rodrigo Loiola, from the blood-brain barrier Laboratory of Artois University, presented a poster entitled: "Effect of magnetic nanocapsules and endothelial progenitor cells secretome on in vitro model of human blood-brai

MAGBBRIS at the European Stroke Organisation Conference

Alba Grayston, PhD. student at the Vall d'Hebron Research Institute Neurovascular Research group, has presented a poster at the European Stroke Organisation Conference (ESOC). The poster was entitled "Intraarterial administration of therapeutic Endothelial Progenitor Cell secretome in biocompatible magnetized nanocapsules for sustained release in a mouse model of transient cerebral ischemia" and involves work on different aspects of the MAGBBRIS project. The Conference was held in Milano, where Alba has been staying for some months collaborating with the Imaging group at Ospedale San Raffaele. #MAGBBRIS #VHIR #SanRaffaele #ESOC

Anna Roig presents MAGBBRIS project in China

Anna Roig was invited as Visiting Professor at the Biomedical Engineering Department of Jinan University (Guangzhou, China). She was hosted by Dr. Siming Yu, who did his PhD at the ICMAB in the Nanoparticles and Nanocomposites group. During this trip, she also visited Tianjin University hosted by Dr. Pengfei Niu also a former PhD at the NN group. At both places she gave at talk on Magnetic Nanocapsules for Brain Repair and Imaging after Stroke explaining some of the research activities of MAGBBRIS. #ICMAB #MAGBBRIS
