July 4, 2018

MAGBBRIS Project coordinator Anna Rosell (VHIR) has been invited to Kyoto to give two talks about the role of Endothelial Progenitor Cells (EPCs) in neurorepair.

The first speech was hold the 2nd of July 2018 at the World Congress of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology (WCP2018), and it was part of a symposium on mechanisms of white matter damage and repair. The assistants could hear about the use of EPCs secretome as mediator of oligovascular remodelling.

On the 3rd of July,  she was invited by Hisashi Shirakawa to give a seminar on the same topic at the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kyoto University.  In this lectures, Anna Rosell showed some recently obtained results within the MAGBBRIS project, where we encapsulate EPCs secretome in PLGA nanocapsules to improve neurorepair after stroke.
