UA presents results on BBB at the SEISC Meeting
The French Society for the Study of Blood-Brain Interfaces (SEISC) conducted their 2019 Annual Meeting at CEA-Service hospitalier Frédéric Joliot in Orsay the 15th of November.
Rodrigo Azevedo Loiola, postdoctoral fellow from LBHE, performed an oral presentation on the effect of EPC secretome on the blood-brain barrier (BBB) structure. This talk is the fruit of the latest work at the BBB Laboratory of Artois University in collaboration with the partners from the MAGBBRIS consortium.
The presentation was entitled “Endothelial Progenitor cells secretome from stroke patients promotes endothelial barrier tightness” and was included in a session regarding BBB development and pathology.
